2nd Annual Chad Schmit Memorial Beef Classic

2nd Annual Chad Schmit Memorial Beef Classic at Wabasha County Fairgrounds

This past weekend, the Wabasha County Fairgrounds was bustling with excitement as it hosted the 2nd Annual Chad Schmit Memorial Beef Classic. Despite the chilly weather, the event brought together cattle enthusiasts, farmers, and families for a day filled with competition and camaraderie. The fairgrounds provided the perfect backdrop for this special occasion, highlighting the important role agriculture plays in our community.

The competition was fierce as participants showcased their cattle, exemplifying the hard work and dedication that goes into raising these animals. The turnout exceeded expectations, with a great crowd coming together to celebrate Chad Schmit's legacy and passion for the beef industry. Despite the cold temperatures, the sense of warmth and community spirit permeated throughout the fairgrounds.

To capture the highlights of the Beef Classic, some photos were taken by Brook from Backroad Creative and Hannah Wilhelm. These snapshots beautifully encapsulate the energy and enthusiasm of the event, showcasing the impressive cattle on display and the shared enthusiasm of participants and spectators alike. We have received permission from both photographers to share some of their photos here.

As we reflect on the success of the 2nd Annual Chad Schmit Memorial Beef Classic, we look forward to future events at the Wabasha County Fairgrounds that bring our community together in celebration of our agricultural heritage.
