Friday the 19th was a hot and muggy day, but the fair was still the place to be! They day started with the dairy show and the goat show in the cattle barn. The circus and the TecknoCenter were still going throughout the day for everyone’s enjoyment. A little heat wasnt going to stop us!
The day was capped off by the AutoCross put on by IMP. Fans braved the heat to see one of the best performances we have seen. Over 90 vehicles were at the event and the spectators certainly got their moneys worth.
As always, a big thank you to all of the visitors, exhibitors, vendors, and volunteers who make our fair what it is!

We had a great turn out of competitors for our Bobcat Rodeo Thursday night. A few videos from the event are below. This year’s course involved ringing a bell without touching the bar, navigating the traffic cones, backing into a parking spot, and picking up a basketball with the pallet forks and making into the basketball hoop. Contestants had their choice of a Bobcat or John Deere skidloader. There were many impressive lap times, and a few who lost their battle with the basketball.
Special thanks goes out to Bobcat of Rochester for helping organize the event and providing the Bobcat skidloaders. Additional thanks to SEMA Equipment for providing the John Deere skidloader.
Thursday began with the beef show followed by our goat show, both taking place in the Livestock Barn. We had great performances by the Los Moralitos Circus that was enjoyed by a large crowd. The American Red Cross was on the grounds as well with their Bloodmobile. The Xtratyme TecknoCenter was open all day offering FREE video games, music, and games. Kids and adults both enjoyed the Minnow races and watermelon eating contest.
Later in the night we had the NEW Kids Obstacle Course, followed by the Sawdust Scramble for $200 and the Bobcat Rodeo! This years Bobcat Rodeo had the most contestants ever, and we saw some fantastic laps.
Today, Friday, began with the dairy goat show followed by the Dairy show. It is plenty warm out, but is nice in the shade with a breeze. The AutoCross tonight is certain to be a fun time for everyone, so get here early to grab your seats!
